FYI taxes for the highest income earners are near the historic low. It was 70% not 40 years ago. It's called class warfare and you can guess who's losing.
Myself, I think a strong extermination of waste and logistical screw-ups, as well as possible sensible tax changes would be a good thing. Although, my end-all argument ends up being population control. And the whole financial responsibility thing, but I can't say shit about that, myself.
Some things work, some things don't, and we need to sift through and figure out which is which. In a CONSTRUCTIVE, ADULT-LIKE fashion.
Political issues are always a huge mess for me, because I'm driven to understand as much of the details and factors as I can. Unfortunately, as much as I want to be perfect neutral, I lean towards chaotic good, and therefore lean on the side of human rights.
Plus I'm a filthy scumbag socialist so I'm tainted <3
He's just as much part of the so called one percent as Any of the others. But what's not keeping everyone's attention, is the direction our tax dollars are going, ever heard of what the government spends to fix a window? Or a deadbeat on welfare who wastes all his money on lottery tickets? How bout that crack head down the street that sells his food stamps?
Remember people, our tax dollars don't just go to the government, they also go to illegal aliens, dead beats, and people who just refuse to put any ounce of an effort to better their life.
Instead of pointing the finger north, why not point the finger south at the people who come around, give you a sob story about how they need milk and bread, then wait til you're gone to go spend the money you lent them on beer?
The door swings both ways folks, a lot of the people in the "one percent" have worked to get up to where they are now, my dad wasn't born into the asphalt paving business, he started out drilling wells the day i was born, and earned every dime to build the company up and get into construction. Just because he has over a million dollars, he suddenly owes somebody something for just existing? Eat shit and die. Get out, get a job, make your own money, spend it, and do your part to improve the economy.
Personally i think it's funny how there were protests in so many cities, but not a damn soul was protesting outside the white house, asking Obamayomama why he was trashing our economy even worse than Bush jr. could have even dreamed.

But yeah, the things that I'm having the hardest time understanding must be national/international economics.
